Strategic network for optimum conversion of waste
Waste is an acute, rapidly growing global problem, but at the same time, if correctly refined, it could satisfy several needs of the society through products such as fertilisers, heat, power and vehicle fuels.
Hence, the selected focus area of Waste Refinery is optimum conversion of waste material into high-quality products important for a sustainable society.
Waste Refinery started in 2007 as a center of knowledge, hosted by SP Technical Research Institute. From January 1 2015, Waste Refinery continues as a strong strategic network.
The network welcomes members from the industry, research organisations and the society.
